The most common bearings are single-row deep groove ball bearings. They are characterized by a simple design, are non-separable, and are suitable for operation at high rotational speeds. Furthermore, they generally do not require extensive maintenance.

Depending on your needs, deep groove ball bearings can be supplied in various designs, for example, with reduced or increased clearances, with higher accuracy classes, and with special cages adapted to high rotational speeds. Furthermore, deep groove ball bearings are available in many design variants.

An example of this is the use of bearings with 2Z type shields or 2RS type rubber seals, or with a groove on the N type outer ring, used to locate the bearing in the axial direction in the housing using an R type ring. Bearings with two shields or two rubber seals are filled by the manufacturer with an appropriate amount of plastic grease, sufficient for average operating conditions for the entire service life.
